Nightly custodial for schools and districts: classroom and corridor cleaning, restroom sanitation, gym and cafeteria floors, entryways, disinfection, and the summer strip-and-refinish work that has to happen in the ten weeks the building is empty. Day porter coverage where the building needs someone present during hours.
We work for public districts, charter networks, independent and parochial schools, and childcare centres. The buying process is different for each — a private school can agree a scope in a fortnight, a district runs a sealed bid on a fixed calendar — and we work to whichever one you are in.
Pricing you can check
Cleaning is a labour business. The median janitorial wage in the United States is $17.71 an hour (BLS, May 2025), but it runs from under $14 to nearly $22 depending on the state — so a national per-square-foot rate tells you nothing about your building. A 60,000 sq ft elementary school typically runs $115,000–$150,000 a year at APPA Level 4 with the summer deep clean included. Restrooms, locker rooms and the cafeteria are always quoted at Level 2, because APPA defines no lower level for them — a detail most bids quietly ignore and then under-staff.
Most districts are small. That is the point.
Of the 18,222 operating school districts in the United States, 14,289 run five schools or fewer. The national contractors are built around portfolios of eighty buildings and price their regional management accordingly. A district with two or three schools deserves a contractor whose supervision is not spread across three states.

School cleaning services, whatever you call them
Districts write custodial services in a solicitation, business managers ask for cleaning services for schools, and facilities directors search for janitorial services for schools or educational facility cleaning. They are the same work, and we quote all of it the same way: cleanable square footage by space type, a named APPA service level, and the hours behind it.

Beyond schools
Schools are the hardest commercial buildings there are — the density, the restroom load and the bell schedule see to that. Everything else on a route we already run is easier, so we also clean childcare and preschool centres, churches and parish halls, community buildings and ordinary offices. Who cleans your building
In the markets we staff, our own employees. Everywhere else, a partner contractor we have vetted — insurance verified with the carrier, workers compensation confirmed, background-check process audited against your state's requirements for school contractors. You sign one contract with us either way, and we tell you which it is in your town before you sign, not after.
Everyone who enters a school is screened before their first shift, regardless of what the local statute requires. That is a company rule, not a compliance minimum.
